How it works
Upload an audio file, generate a transcript, and save the text from your phone or desktop browser. No software installation is needed.
Select an MP3, WAV, M4A, FLAC, or OGG file from your device, or drag it into the upload area. The recording must contain audible speech.
Choose the spoken language or use auto-detect, then select “Start Transcribing” to transcribe the audio file.
Review each sentence alongside the recording and correct any mistakes. Copy the transcript or download a plain text (.txt) file.
Before you upload
Speech recognition works best with clear voices. A few recording checks can reduce the time you spend correcting your transcript.
Play the recording first. Music, sound effects, and silence alone won’t produce a useful transcript.
Place your phone or recorder near the speaker and reduce background noise. Try to avoid people speaking at the same time.
The maximum supported audio length is 60 minutes. Trim longer audio files to the parts you need before uploading.
Replay names, numbers, and technical terms before using the transcript in your notes, quotes, or published work.
