Before you transcribe
Most issues come from video access or link format. Here's how to fix them.
In TikTok, tap Share → Copy link. Don't forward to a friend—that creates a card, not a usable link.
Private, friends-only, deleted, or region-restricted videos can't be transcribed.
Silent slideshows or music-only videos won't produce a transcript. The video needs someone speaking.
Share links can expire. If transcription fails, go back to TikTok and copy a fresh link.

You can repurpose your own video transcripts. For someone else’s work, use the transcript for reference and obtain the creator’s permission before republishing, adapting or using it commercially.
Choose a video with clear speech and minimal background noise. Replay the audio at each timestamp to check names, brands and numbers. Loud music, strong accents and overlapping voices can reduce accuracy.
